At 52, she knows that yoga helps to keep her strong in body and mind and supports her ability to exercise and move. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and completed her 200RYT with Mindful School of Yoga. She is certified with MOSSA as a Group Power instructor and is a certified Silver Sneakers instructor. She loves working with a variety of ages and experiences and strives to make class participants feel empowered and uplifted while having some fun too. When she’s not teaching she’s likely walking a dog, making jewelry, or hanging with her husband, as her last child has flown the coop to college
Weight lifting benefits include improved posture, better sleep, gaining bone density, maintaining weight loss, boosting metabolism, lowering inflammation and staving off chronic disease.
The benefits of HIIT include burning calories, losing weight, and building muscle. HIIT can also help you lower blood pressure and blood sugar, while improving oxygen and blood flow

Lets build muscle and increase bone density with easy to follow weight based exercises. All you need is a set or two of dumbbells.
Begin with 25 minutes of interval cardio training (no weights needed) and finish with 35 minutes of Yoga (standing poses, balance and stretch).
This class incorporates cardio and body weight training. With a few weights too. A set or two of dumbbells.
This 35 minute class begins with stretch, strength and breath. We start in a chair and then move to standing for balance and grounding poses and finish with a short meditation. This class is free to participants 68 and older.
